Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You're going through a big change — and can't seem to find your footing

  • Even though it might be a "good" thing, you feel anxious, uncertain, or not yourself

  • You're exhausted from trying to hold it all together while everything shifts

  • You feel like you've lost your sense of identity or direction

  • People keep saying "it'll work out" — but that's not actually helping

  • You're not sure who you are in this new chapter of your life

You're Not Broken. Change Is Just Hard.

Life transitions — even the ones you chose — can shake your sense of stability, identity, and control.

Whether you're adjusting to a new city, navigating a career shift, becoming a parent, ending a relationship, or trying to figure out what comes next after a major loss — it's normal to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck.

The problem is, most people don't talk about how hard transitions really are. Society expects you to "figure it out" and move on. But transitions don't work on a timeline — and you don't have to push through alone.

✓ You've always been able to handle things on your own — but this feels different

✓ You're juggling too many emotions at once and don't know where to start

✓ You're grieving something — even if the change was "positive"

✓ Part of you knows you need support, but you're not sure what that looks like

What We Work On

Life transitions therapy that meets you where you are.

Life transitions therapy with Alayna isn't about rushing you through change or telling you to "stay positive." It's about creating space to process what's actually happening — and building the tools to navigate this chapter with more clarity and less overwhelm.

Sessions are virtual, flexible, and tailored to your unique situation — whether you're dealing with a sudden shift or a slow-building change that's finally caught up with you.

Career Changes

Starting a new job, switching careers, job loss, burnout, or workplace uncertainty and questions that come with it.

Young Adulthood

Transitioning from school to "real life" — navigating independence, career direction, and finding your footing as an adult.

Moving & Relocation

Adjusting to a new city, state, or environment — and rebuilding your sense of home, routine, and community from scratch.

Loss & Grief

Processing the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a life you thought you'd have.

Relationship Changes

Divorce, breakups, new relationships, or family and friends that leave you questioning your place.

Becoming a Parent

The overwhelming mix of joy, fear, exhaustion, and identity shift that comes with bringing a new life into yours.

Evidence-Based Methods

How Alayna Treats Anxiety

Alayna uses an eclectic, tailored approach — drawing from proven techniques and adapting them to what actually works for you. No one-size-fits-all formulas.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identify and reframe the thought patterns that fuel overwhelm, self-doubt, or catastrophizing — and build more grounded, realistic perspectives.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Rather than getting stuck in what's wrong, we focus on your strengths, values, and concrete next steps to help you move forward.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

Build present-moment awareness so you can stay grounded during uncertainty instead of spiraling into "what ifs."

Grief Informed Support

Transitions often involve loss — even the "good" ones. We honor what you're leaving behind while creating space for what's next.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I'm Alayna.

I know what it feels like to watch anxiety slowly take things away from you — your peace, your confidence, your ability to just be present. And I know how exhausting it is to try to power through it alone.

My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space where you feel safe enough to actually explore what's underneath the anxiety — and help you build something more solid in its place.

I draw from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, always adapting to what's most helpful for you. I've worked across private practice, outpatient, inpatient, and in-home settings, and I specialize in anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Here's How We Begin

01.

Book a free 15-minute consultation

This call is a chance for us to connect and see if we’re a good fit. I’ll answer any questions you have, learn a bit about what brings you here, and share how I work. There’s no pressure to commit, just space to explore next steps.

02.

Start With A First Session

During our first session together I will ask some questions to get to know you better and the reason you are coming to therapy. We will explore some of your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. You will have an opportunity to ask me some questions about the process as well. This first session will be a chance for us to start building a therapeutic relationship, and create a safe and trusting environment for future sessions.

03.

Begin Your Therapy Journey

Together, we’ll create a rhythm for our sessions that fits your needs. We’ll explore challenges at your pace, uncover patterns, and build tools that support your healing and growth. This is your space—and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
